When you are hosting a 36-hour radio show, you’ve got to go the distance – just like the eight horse races we have lined up for Friday night of our Thre3-6ix Radio Festival weekend.
Not sure what a race night is? Its a thrilling family friendly night out for a good cause! A charity race night is a fun event where you can cheer on recorded horse races, placing friendly bets on which will win. You’ll get a race card to pick your horses, and if you want you can place a bet. It’s all about friendly competition, raising money for a chosen charity.
You’ll enjoy the races, the chance to win cash prizes, and the feel-good factor of supporting a worthy cause. It’s a night of laughter, cheers, and raising a glass (with soft drinks available too!) for a great reason. So grab your friends, put on your lucky hat, and get ready for a night of racing fun!
All the money raised goes towards supporting 12 members of 1st Purley and Pangbourne visiting Malawi this summer to support a number of community projects.
A licensed bar will be open throughout the evening, serving wine, beers, cider and soft drinks. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are also on sale.
Adults £10 including Fish & Chip supper. Children £8 including Childs Fish & Chip supper. Food delivered at 8pm. Other food options including vegetarian available. Food from Lemon Place, Tilehurst.
£1 tote betting on the night over 8 races, cash prizes to be won in every race.
