2019 Fundraising

Operating all day Saturday, and all morning Sunday along side Thre3-6ix Radio we will be running Thr3-6ix Cafe. Come and join us by the Thames for cup of tea / coffee / juice / can of drink and a slice of cake, listen to the radio show, buy a badge, see whats going on and learn much more about why we are doing this. We are really lucky to have been donated many cakes to help support our fundraising, and will even be trying to cook some welsh cakes during the day fresh! You will find us on Pangbourne Meadow just behind Adventure Dolphin, we will have shelter so we will be open whatever the weather.

To celebrate the start of Doughnut Week 2019, the wonderful people at @waringsbakery have kindly donated 36 @tiptree jam-filled doughnuts to our Thre3-6ix Cafe. Visit them to check out their Roald Dahl supporting @Childrens_Trust for Doughnut week, starts Saturday 11th their doughnut line up includes: George's Marvellous Medicine Ring Doughnut Mr Twit's Scary Hairy Doughnut BFG's Frobscottle Doughnut James & The Giant Peach Doughnut Bruce Bogtrotter's Chocolate Doughnut Pop down to the Cafe all weekend, to sample cakes, and donuts!

A group of Explorer Scouts from 1st Purley and Pangbourne will be holding a 36-hour radio marathon over the weekend of 10-12 May 2019 to raise money for life-changing international expeditions and adventures this summer. Supported by Scout Radio, the show will begin late on Friday 10 May and see each of the participating Explorers broadcast non-stop. There will be plenty of guests, conversations, competitions, pre-recorded interviews and music to create a unique show that celebrates Scouting in our community.
